Moonrise Medical was honored to be part of LINC 2024 in Leipzig, Germany, where our Co-Founder and COO, Dr. Abubaker Khalifa, took the stage to speak about the power of AI-enabled pedal ultrasonography in the care of patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
This leading global vascular conference brought together experts from around the world to share advancements in vascular medicine, surgical techniques, and patient care. Across many sessions, a common theme emerged — there is a significant need for objective metrics to guide therapeutic revascularization interventions.
Moonrise Medical is working to address this need by developing technology that enhances peripheral procedures, promotes wound healing, and helps prevent unnecessary amputations. Every 30 seconds, somewhere in the world, a limb is lost to amputation, most often due to blocked vessels or complications from diabetes. We believe this is a statistic that can and must be changed.
LINC 2024 was also an invaluable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, meet new partners, and share our vision with a global audience. We are grateful for the chance to contribute to these important conversations and look forward to continuing our mission to transform PAD care.
